Online Tour of the Miller-Cory House:

Milk Room

This room was constructed in the 1760's in the second phase of changes and additions to the north side of the house. Being on the north side it would naturally be the coolest room for the milk, eggs, etc. The original oak floor has been boarded over by necessity as moisture had its harshest effect here.
